The Creative Process

  • 01 // Before We Start

    Gather your website content - images, text and any brand assets you have such as logo, brand guide etc. You’ll also be able to fill in a detailed questionnaire that will help me get to know your business and brand needs.

  • 02 // Homepage Design

    I dive deep in the design development stage and bring the Homepage to life. Once the homepage is done, you'll have a chance to share feedback so that I can apply some meaningful changes (if necessary) and make sure we're nailing the design.

  • 03 // Other Pages Design

    Once the homepage is approved I'll move on to designing the rest of the website. Again, you'll have a chance to share your feedback. We'll keep tweaking and refining until we have a website that's perfectly tailored for your business.

  • 04 // Launch and Celebrate

    Once we're done with refining the design and we have our final look, your website is ready to go live. I'll share some useful tutorials in case you need to manage your website on your own after the project is completed. Pop up the champagne and tell the world about your new gorgeous website!

  • The platform we'll be using and you'll absolutely adore is Squarespace (version 7.1). It's very intuitive and you'll be able to easily update your content whenever you want, no tech skills needed!

  • Yes, I provide SEO essentials as part of the website design package.

  • Since you know your business best, I leave the writing to you! Once you book with me, I’ll send over some helpful resources to guide you in creating your website’s copy (your text content), so you’ll have everything ready before we officially kick off the project. If writing feels overwhelming, I'd recommend working with a copywriter.

  • I always recommend business owners to use their own photos. This is so important especially for personal brands. Work with a professional photographer if possible. However, if you're not able to provide photos, I'll make a selection of free photos from stock sites.

  • You don't need to have a logo or any other brand assets for me to start working on your website. I’ll help you with the essentials - choosing fonts and colors. However, a well though brand identity is a good foundation for a successful website. If you'd like to go deeper with branding and invest in that before jumping on to web design, check out my brand identity service.

  • No. To publish your website, you’ll need to purchase a Squarespace subscription and a domain name, but those payments are made to Squarespace directly. This can be done after we design your website.

  • The following are not included in the project cost: image and photo licenses, font licenses (Applicable for fonts that are not available on Squarespace. A webfont license is required.), logo design, copywriting services, photography services, third party apps subscription plans. Not every project involves these extra costs but if you'd like to include any of the above, please provide them before the start of the project.
